While I would love to see the Ellie/Bill interactions, they had to change this episode, for many reasons: 1. The audience needs hope. They need something to make them believe this world is worth staying into 2. They need to set up a contrast for episode 7 3. We need a believeable reason for Joel to stay with Ellie 4. Bill and frank are the last pieces of Joels network, Joel and Ellie are now on their own, that would not have worked if Bill wasnt somewhat close to Joel Additionally, this episode is a bit of an amalgamation of both the B&F story, but also some more of the deep lore in the game.

Ninjas and Samurai were not in different periods of time, the samurai just formed earlier :) They sometimes even met in battle. Ninjas were hired when no official party can interfere. They are like paid mercenaries. The Samurai were honor based fighters and leaders. So when theres was a problem the samurai could not deal with, because it would have been dishonorable for them to do, then ninjas were the ones who could. And they have often been hired by the samurai to do their "dirty work" so to speak (sabotage, espionage, assassinations). Even though the samurai despised the ninjas, they would need them from time to time.

If you did not notice the scientist in the commercial was named Hawthorne same as the medical lab that Max and Lucy went into. The Ghoul sewed Lucys finger on, he had put it in his pocket after he cut it off. Moldaver IMO used cryo suspension, thats how come she is still around. It is part of the fallout universe as per fallout 4 and also on level twelve. Lucy fails a sneak check. Your perception of vault four is, let us say, not quite right. Can't wait for next episode when your questions are answered.

Also worth noting - tornado sirens are for OUTDOOR warning, they aren’t intended to warn you inside your home. Turn the emergency alerts on on your phones and buy a NOAA weather radio.

Since you're big Fallout fans, you should know that the show producers built a full mock-up of the "Filly" wasteland village in March at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. I was able to go, it was free, I got real Nuka Cola, a genuine Vault 33 pin, and had an app on my phone work like an interactive Pip Boy and got to fire a junk shooter, met actors and saw all the props. If interested, a lot of media people posted photos online, check them out.
